Kameron Slade, a fifth-grader from Queens, NY, was scheduled to deliver a speech as part of a school-wide competition at PS 195. But when the principal learned Kameron’s speech was about same-sex marriage, he was ordered to choose a new topic or lose the opportunity to speak. (via)

This little boy is awesome. I remember when I was little there was some sort of show or movie or whatever on TV and two ladies where either getting married or just kissing and my mom reacted down to cover my eyes even though I still saw it. I didn’t understand why she would do that at the time but it still stuck with me.
